Welcome to LIFE Farm!

I think its really spring!  We've started working with the crew early this year.  Here they are mulching the garlic bed.  The greenhouse are filled with starts.  We planted beets a few weeks back.  They're already 5 inches tall.  On the other hand the spring Kale is eager to bolt with this warm weather.

Thanks to all our new and returning CSA members.  I'm looking forward to great season. Just one month until the first delivery.  If you 'd like to see what were planting for this season check out the  2012 plan.

We'll be at the Bloomington Winter Market until the end of March, then it's back outside at the Bloomington Community Farmers Market. The Shiitakes and Portobella .s are growing strong.  We'll have a bit of Kale to tide us over until the spring greens are ready to harvest. At the Winter Market we also have a selection of seeds grown on LIFE Farm and packaged through our sister business, Nature's Crossroads.
